December RS Christmas Activity

December was all about “The Angel Tree” where we wrapped presents for those whose names were on the angel tree. The presents were then packed up and taken to Janet Longs home where she separated them, put the names on them and then called  the parents of the “Angels” and they came and picked up the gifts. All were very grateful for the help of the bigger angels who helped the little angels. We also had a Christmas decoration/ornament exchange. We figured by the 13th of December everyone would have decorated and would know if they had items they no longer wanted or used and exchange or donate them. What was left was taken to the DI.
